Frequently Asked Questions
My waterproof jacket leaks every time it rains. Do I need to buy a new one?

Absolutely not! When manufactured, waterproof clothing has a Durable Water Repellent (DWR) treatment applied to the face fabric and over time this breaks down. Keeping your jacket clean and renewing its DWR will prolong its life and extend its performance - just don't wash it in normal household detergent! Simply wash first with Nikwax Tech Wash and then reproof with TX.Direct. You can do this in your washing machine at home - wash around 3 - 4 times a year and reproof once or twice. Follow these simple steps, don't reproof a dirty garment and you should remain warm and dry!
